As we all know, Disney has plans to do “spin-off” films every other year between the main films.(ep7 in 2015, spinoff in 2016). JoBlo has stated from a “trusted and reliable source” that it is confirmed that we can expect to see these films in this alternating pattern. Check out the diagram below to see the schedule for the next few years!

The site mentions as well that the first two films will be covering the adventures of Boba Fett and a younger Han Solo. The Han Solo film will cover the adventures of Han Solo and Chewbacca “potentially on how they met and became partners on the Millennium Falcon.”
