With an iconic team such as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and not to forget their wookie companion Chewbacca, who’s to fill the new cast that will join them in the sequel trilogy? With Star Wars Episode VII heading into the pre-production phases rumors are popping up everywhere and Schmoes Knows claims to have the first scoop and that open casting has begun in the UK. It was posted on a well known casting site called Breakdownservices.com. Here’s what they might be looking for:

Late-teen female, independent, good sense of humour, fit.

Young twenty-something male, witty and smart, fit but not traditionally good looking.

A late twentysomething male, fit, handsome and confident.

Seventy-something male, with strong opinions and tough demeanour. Also doesn’ t need to be particularly fit.

A second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and fit.

Forty something male, fit, military type.

Thirty something male, intellectual. Apparently doesn’t need to be fit.

This has been said to have been sent from Disney’s new casting directors for the new Star Wars films, April Webster and Alyssa Weisberg representing US and Nina Gold in the UK. It is said that they have been sending this to agents. Knowing JJ Abrams and most of his big films, details are tightly secure and we’ll probably only have speculations. So what clues does this give for the new films?
