As many of you know Comic Con is in full swing down in San Diego this weekend. Many are looking forward to Star Wars news, what’s going to happen to with the new movie, who’s the new cast? Are the original cast returning to the roles that made them famous? Well, the bit of news that has come out is not exactly what fans were expecting, but Phineas and Ferb creators and “Star Wars” fans Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh have decided to join forces and do a crossover between the two franchises.
Phineas and Ferb has been a huge success since it’s creation six years ago and continues to be the number 1 cartoon for children. The show is about two kids who take on projects during their summer vacation and the Star Wars special will center on the two being disturbed while on Tatooine with the destruction of the Death Star falling into their hands.
The Star Wars special is scheduled to hit sometime next year on the Disney Channel.
