Earlier this year Disney had bought out Star Wars, cancelling many projects that Lucasarts was heading. With the news that Disney had signed a contract with Electronic Arts, many fans rejoiced when they heard that a new Battlefront game was hitting the consoles. Many are speculating that this could be for a new game series, but no further details have been given. Some speculate a new series, or maybe even added to one of the Disney theme parks. There is no official date of release or even any more details about it. As we get closer to the release of Episode VII, I believe more details will be released.
