One of the most exciting news about EA taking on a license to produce more games was the fact that the long expected sequel Star Wars: Battlefront was finally coming to production. After making plans for the franchise, EA has set plans far in the future, knowing that this series is the most anticipated by fans and there are more sequels to come from the series.

“The shooter rotation we think about now is Battlefield, Titanfall and Battlefront, and so we like those three brands going forward,” he said. “We’re working out how we’re going to line that up because that’s what you’ll see from us. With regards to Medal of Honor, you try things in entertainment and if they don’t work you try something else. From our perspective, Battlefield 3 and Battlefield Premium continues to grow.”

So if Battlefront continues to produce results we’ll be seeing more it in their rotation. Bad thing? Not if they do the series justice I think it could be a great franchise. The first Battlefront is due sometime in 2015 near the release of the new movie.
