Assuming that the Expanded Universe is tossed aside and The Force Unleashed never happened, where did the origins of the Rebel Alliance take place? Well, according to the deleted scenes from Revenge of the Sith, it looked like there might have been a group from the Senate who were already making plans to rebel against the empire which continued into the popular Star Wars game The Force Unleashed. 

Well, rumors are now popping up about what the show is about. The plot that is rumored is that it follows a group of teenagers who are on an Imperial controlled planet, set 8 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith. They begin to “rebel” against the empire and this is said to be the beginning of chain of events that start the rebellion. 

So it being a TV Show and official from Lucasfilm, we can ignore the events in The Force Unleashed. More news will be coming about the show as more announcements are to come from the New York Comic Con.
