This is not the cast you are looking for… Well, last week we were promised that we would get a cast reveal and many thought that it would be the Episode VII cast, but instead, a reveal of each character for Star Wars: Rebels, which makes sense. This week we’ve gotten to see each member of the crew of Ghost revealed, and today, we’ve got the owner and pilot of the newest Star Wars vehicle. She’s a Twi’lek and her name is Hera. She is voiced by the actress Vanessa Marshall. Hera is the glue that keeps the group together and moving.
“She is a very strong-minded character,” says Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni, “kind of the heart of the group, keeps everyone together when they would otherwise fall apart.”
“Every time we get a script I’m breathless with anticipation,” Marshall adds, “because I want to see where we’re going too.”
So there you have it, all the major characters and cast has been revealed for the new animated series, Star Wars: Rebels which will air in Fall 2014.
