So not much news has been rolling about on the new movie but today Starwars.com has announced that filming will start in May this year. Also confirmed is the time frame the movies will take place, 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi.
It has also been confirmed that Star Wars: Episode VII is set about 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, and will star a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces. No further details on casting or plot are available at this time.
Hopefully we’ll be getting more details about the cast soon, but looks like there will be a new heroic trio to take the place of our familiar heroes.
