With the recent news that filming has already started, we’re getting another original cast confirmation. Fans will be happy to see that their favorite Wookie is returning to the screen, played by the man himself, Peter Mayhew! This also explains why Peter Mayhew had to cancel certain events due to “filming.” So far for the cast that we have revealed are only the returning cast members from the original trilogy and official filming will begin in May. Hopefully we’ll be getting some new cast reveals but it looks like the casting is not done as they are still looking to fill a few more roles. So filming begins and May and Episode VII will hit theatres on December 18th, 2015.
