New Star Wars Trilogy Could be Moved to Traditional May Release

Alan Horn, Chairman of Disney, revealed some interesting news about the new Star Wars trilogy in his most recent interview regarding the upcoming films. First off he confirmed that (pic above) the recent photo we posted with the AT-AT from the possible set of Episode VII was legit; furthermore, he confirmed that second unit filming is indeed underway in Abu Dhabi. The Disney Pres told press that George Lucas is part of the project and he has taken on the role of consultant.

The most important news to note is that Mr. Horn said that depending on “script readiness”, the new Star Wars trilogy could revert to their original May slots! Now the question we have been asking ourselves is does this mean that Episode VII will get a May 2015 or 2016 release date if this all proves true? IF it were May 2015 would that make the film too rushed? What are your thoughts guys? comment away!
