Alot of fans have wondered whether or not JJ Abrams would continue on and direct Star Wars Episodes VIII and IX, but it seems he will be passing the baton on to Looper director Rian Johnson according to Deadline.  Johnson will not direct Episode IX, but will write on the film. As for Abrams, we are still unsure whether or not he will participate in any way with the next installments of the Star Wars saga. The source claims they do not know much more than this at the point but we will keep you guys updated as more details spill out over the next few days!
