RECAP: Force Friday – What We’ve Seen So Far

Force Friday is coming up and we are just as excited as you are! With less than a month to go we’d like to do a quick recap on what we expect to see on store shelves…

CAUTION! The following content may contain SPOILERS!

Going back to the earliest word of new products. Here is an image of a set of 3.75 in. action figures for The Force Awakens. The figures here are unpainted prototypes therefore we don’t see what the figures look like in their entirety. However with just this image, we’re pumped to get them into our hands!

Next up, we have the Black Series. The Black Series lineup has proven to appeal even more to collectors and it seems Hasbro has not disappointed us this time. While these are not all confirmed for Force Friday we do expect to see these figures on the shelves. Previously seen in all its glory, we will be getting a Black Series: 6-inch First Order Stormtrooper. Unfortunately it is unlikely we will be getting this figure in the same packaging as the SDCC exclusive.

Other figures in the lineup include: Kanan Jarrus, Ahsoka Tano, Luke Skywalker (Farm-boy Garb), Jango Fett, and a First Order Tie Pilot along with a whopping 6-inch scale First Order Tie Fighter! At this point I know many are saying: TAKE MY MONEY!

Moving on, we get to the new LEGO SETS! Now none of these are 100% confirmed however given the credibility we do expect these sets to be on the shelves. Below are some leaked lists of brand new sets…

Here are some leaked photos of new The Force Awakens sets including the Millennium Falcon, Poe’s X-Wing, and Kylo Ren’s Transporter. That’s a lot of Mini Figs…

Some stores seem to already have some smaller products on the shelves already. It seems there are some new playsets aimed for a younger range. These photos come from @Rebelscum

Aside from the typical toy swag that everyone expects to see, there will also be some smaller items. Here we have stickers, watches and even chairs… (From @MakingStarWars)

Aside from that we can’t forget the new reading material part of the new canon! Here we have Aftermath, a novel written by Chuck Wendig and Shattered Empire written by Gary Rucka. Finally we will get a bridge to The Force Awakens.
