Thanks to Dr. Talyn over at the RPF for posting this photo a couple of days ago.
This photo provides us with a look at some of the new Hasbro lightsabers coming out. But in a closer analysis of the photo, there is a set of sabers listed as being used by Kylo Ren. The cobbled up”Cross-guard” saber is presented along with a second saber called a “Lightdagger”. Though it is unlikely it will see any use in the film it is nice to see that Kylo has a last resort in case his cobbled up make-shift saber doesn’t exactly work out against Finn’s traditional lightsaber. However, the so-called Lightdagger seems to look a bit more traditional aesthetically. Some would say that now he has this second option at his side it is starting to look a bit like overkill.
