Hey guys, just wanted to give a quick heads up on the new and upcoming novels in the Star Wars cannon. So far only a few novels have been announced for this year, with plenty of comics and young-adult books to follow. The list for major novels as follows:

• New Republic: Bloodline is an upcoming canon novel written by Claudia Gray. The story takes place six years prior to Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. It is scheduled to be released on May 3, 2016.
• Aftermath: Life Debt is an upcoming canon novel written by Chuck Wendig. It is the second book in The Aftermath Trilogy,[1] and will be released on July 19, 2016.
• Aftermath: Empire’s End is an upcoming canon novel written by Chuck Wendig. It is the third and final book in The Aftermath Trilogy, and is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2017.

Of all of the major books announced I am most looking forward to New Republic: Bloodline. I am most interested in this novel because of Claudia Gray, especially after her work on Lost Stars. I should have a review of Lost Stars shortly, and it will explain why I am so enthusiastic to read anything by her.
