Hello fellow readers, by now you may have seen that Star Wars has updated the information on Star Wars: Bloodline by Claudia Gray. If you have read any of my past work, you will know that Claudia is quickly becoming my favorite Star Wars author, therefore I am EXTREMELY excited for this upcoming novel.

The official synopsis is as follows (Penguin): From the New York Times bestselling author of Star Wars: Lost Stars comes a thrilling prequel to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, set roughly six years before the events of the film.

The cover has also been released, displaying Princess Leia. The story is set to focus on her adventures before TFA and hopefully show us more of her interactions with the Resistance. If you have read Before the Awakening you got a taste of what I am talking about in the Poe Dameron section, I can easily say that was the most interesting section of that novel, which makes me even more excited for this novel.

The novel is expected to release on 4 February, 2016.
